NFL Injury Report:
It’s unclear what the Kansas City Chiefs’ offense will look
like today when they take on the San Diego Charges, as several of their key contributors are listed as questionable to play
. This is true of wide receivers Dwayne Bowe
(groin), Steve Breaston
(knee), and Dexter McCluster
(elbow), while running
back Peyton Hillis
(ankle) entered the day listed as doubtful by the club.
Even though he’s listed as questionable, Bowe is expected to
suit up and play against the Charges.
His groin injury that limited him in practice Friday doesn’t appear to
be significant, but you have to wonder if it will impact his performance.
It also wouldn’t be surprising to see Breaston and McCluster
play for Arizona today.
Hillis didn’t practice all week and his chances of playing
against the Charges aren’t looking good.
Tight end Kevin Boss
is the only Chiefs player that’s been ruled out at

Chiefs wideout Dwayne Bowe (groin) has been listed as questionable for Week 4 against San Diego. He's been limited in practice on Thursday and Friday.Fantasy Spin:Bowe is the team's only top-tier receiver so if he can't go Sunday versus the Chargers, it would be a huge blow to quarterback Matt Cassel's fantasy value. We should know Bowe's status early Sunday since...
Time to rise to the occasion Juan…
Jon Baldwin is a Bowe clone that the Chiefs hope can become the eventual replacement of Bowe in 2013. He tore it up in training camp when Bowe was holding out, but has moved slowly into the starting rotation. Baldwin was on the field for 63% of the snaps in week 3, which was nearly double from weeks 1 and 2.
Steve Breaston has done nothing...

The receiver turned in his second 100-yard game of the season.Fantasy Spin:Bowe caught seven passes and a touchdown and now has 25 receptions and three scores in four games. It's nice to see Matt Cassel's inconsistent play is not hurting Bowe one bit.

Bowe should see plenty of targets in Week 4, despite the groin issues.
Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles put together one of the nicest highlights of the weekend with this awesome touchdown run against the Chargers today. Unfortunately, his teammates are having quite a bit of trouble helping Charles out and the Chiefs are getting smoked.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. Marty Schottenheimer was in town for the Chiefs' alumni weekend before heading back to his home in Charlotte, N.C., and back into retirement.
Perhaps some Chiefs fans should have tackled him before he got to the Kansas City airport.
Yes, it's getting that desperate in these parts.
The Chiefs not only fell to 1-3 on Sunday with yet another head-scratching...
Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles followed up his huge day in Week 3 with 92 yards rushing and two touchdowns -- one rushing, one receiving -- Sunday against the Chargers. However, he lost two fumbles.Fantasy Spin:Charles ran for 233 yards last week against New Orleans and the team still leaned on him Sunday even though San Diego took a 20-0 lead in the first half.
The Kansas City Chiefs are back where we expected them to be. The San Diego Chargers are just back.
During an ugly, turnover-laced game Sunday, the Chargers' 37-20 dismantling of the Chiefs crystallized just how bad of a football team Kansas City has become. Quarterback Matt Cassel threw three picks, Jamaal Charles coughed up two fumbles, Shaun Draughn added another for good...
The Chiefs were riding high after a solid victory last week against the Saints, but their parade was promptly and torrentially rained upon by Phillip Rivers and the Chargers. This game was not so much about the Chargers being vastly superior, as it was about how truly terrible the Chiefs are.Heroes: Phillip Rivers, Jackie BattleFor years, Phillip Rivers has led this Chargers team...
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- The San Diego Chargers couldn't have asked for a more generous host.
Philip Rivers threw for 209 yards and two touchdowns, and the AFC West-leading Chargers took advantage of six turnovers by the Kansas City Chiefs in a 37-20 victory Sunday.
Five of the turnovers came in the first half, when San Diego (3-1) raced to a 27-6 lead, and the Chargers turned...
In four football games this season, the Kansas City Chiefs haven’t come to the stadium ready to play football. And under any circumstance, that’s just not good enough.
