Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Brady Quinn still hasn’t been cleared to resume play, so at this point it appears Matt Cassel will get the start this weekend against the Pittsburgh Steelers, reports Adam Teicher of The Kansas City Star, who adds that running back Jamaal Charles, who’s dealing with a neck injury, was limited in practice yesterday. Quinn has been out since suffering a concussion during an Oct. 28 contest against the Oakland Raiders. Teicher notes that there is still time this week for Quinn to be cleared to play, and if that happens coach Romeo Crennel has said he would make a decision between Quinn and Cassel. Along with Quinn and Charles, several other Chiefs’ players were limited at practice yesterday, including cornerback Javier Arenas (head), offensive lineman Jeff Allen (head), wide receiver Terrance Copper (calf) and running back Nate Eachus (head). Kansas City Chiefs: Week 10 NFL Power Rankings (#31)

Last week: 31 (+0) Record: 1-7 I still like the Chiefs more than the Jaguars as long as Matt Cassel is their quarterback. As long as his turnover rate regresses somewhat to the mean going forward, he’s their best option at quarterback. If not for two defensive touchdowns, the Chiefs could have easily hung with and beaten the Chargers. I suspect with better turnover luck going forward...
