Quarterback Kyle Orton made a brief appearance in the Chiefs locker room during the period when it's open to the media (he'll learn soon enough not to do that). The index finger of his passing hand, injured in Sunday's win over Chicago, was bandaged but there was no cast.

Fake Kyle Orton Says Goodbye To Denver (Video)
Earlier last week, NFL quarterback Kyle Orton was placed on waivers by the Denver Broncos and eventually picked up by the Kansas City Chiefs.
So, the guys over at Landlocked Pioneers decided to get "Fake Kyle Orton" to say his goodbyes to Denver:
Kansas City Chiefs team report: Kyle Orton likely out next week

Chiefs keep playoff hopes on life support
The way this season has gone for the Kansas City Chiefs, it figured that Kyle Orton would hurt his finger on his first play with his new team.
The Chiefs have been waylaid by injuries, in-fighting and inconsistency. Their best players have been bruised, battered and beaten down. The losses have been stunning routs, the victories by the narrowest margins, and yet somehow they still...
Kyle Orton injured on first play with Chiefs
Kyle Orton’s first play as a Kansas City Chief was one to forget. Orton, the quarterback acquired off waivers from the Broncos, came in to try to give the Chiefs a spark after starter Tyler Palko could do absolutely nothing. But on Orton’s first play, the Chiefs ran a flea-flicker, the Bears weren’t fooled, and…
Video: Kyle Orton’s day is over almost before it begins
At the beginning of the second quarter in their 10-3 victory over the Chicago Bears, the Kansas City Chiefs put quarterback Kyle Orton onto the field in a real game for the first time since they claimed him on waivers on November 23rd. Sadly, Orton's performance time was shorter than that of your average Spinal Tap drummer, as he injured the index finger on his right (throwing...
Chiefs' Orton hurts finger after replacing Palko
Kyle Orton replaced Tyler Palko as the Kansas City Chiefs' quarterback for the first play of the second quarter, injured a finger on his right hand and had to leave the game. His return was questionable.
Chiefs QB Kyle Orton Is Unable To Practice With Finger Injury
Chiefs coach Todd Haley said QB Kyle Orton, who dislocated a finger on his throwing hand Week 13 on his only play of the game, would not practice Wednesday. "He is still pretty sore," Haley said of his backup QB. Haley won't rule out Orton for Week 14, but it appears this injury will keep him from having the chance to start. Halftime report: Chiefs 7, Bears 3
The Star's Adam Teicher offers his first-half observations from today's game in Chicago. The Chiefs lead 7-3 after a Hail Mary into the end zone on the last play. Quarterback Kyle Orton injured his finger on his first play. His return to the game is questionable.
Chiefs stun Bears, 10-3
The Chiefs completely stuffed the Bears in Chicago, 10-3.
Fantasy Spin:
Tyler Palko had 157 yards and a score while Dexter McCluster had 62 yards rushing and had a receiving TD on a Hail Mary right before halftime. Dwayne Bowe had 49 yards on 4 catches. For those expecting Kyle Orton to make his debut this week and immediately make Bowe relevant once again from a Fantasy perspective...
Joes 2011 Gameday Preview Chiefs at Bears
With their fourth loss in the rearview mirror, the Caleb Hanie-led Chicago Bears welcome the deceptively decent Kansas City Chiefs to Soldier Field. Oh yeah, and Kyle Orton might show up sometime today as well. Casual NFL fans may look at this game as an easy win, but it could be very, very ugly. My breakdown illustrates why.(4-7) Kansas City Chiefs at(7-4) Chicago Bears We all saw...
Week 13 Early Thread: Bengals-Steelers CHUH CHUH
It’s a pretty lackluster slate of early games. Ordinarily, Pats-Colts is a delightful late-season hatefest; this year, the Pats are three-touchdown favorites, the first 20+ point favorites in an NFL game since 2007. Denver-Minnesota might have been interesting if Von Miller and Adrian Peterson were playing (they’re not). And depending on Tyler Palko’s performance against the...
