Dave Skretta of the Associated Press reports that Chiefs QB Matt Cassel will start week 10′s game against the Steelers.
Brady Quinn has yet to be cleared for contact after suffering a concussion back in Week 8, so it’s not all too surprising that Cassel will be back under center.
It was rumored that the Chiefs could opt for QB Ricky Stanzi as the starter if Quinn wasn’t healthy enough to play. However, that probably wouldn’t have helped their chances any given Stanzi’s inexperience. Cassel has been a turnover machine this season, so the Steelers seem to be in a great position to handle this game.
