The Kansas City Chiefs have released cornerback Stanford Routt after only eight games since coming in as a free agent.
Routt was brought in from Oakland to replace Brandon Carr, but he’s only been a big disappointment.
The Chiefs signed defensive lineman Shaun Smith to take Routt’s spot.
