TEAMS: Kansas City Chiefs, Arizona Cardinals, Baltimore Ravens
The Kansas City Chiefs announced the release of a pair of
veterans yesterday, wide receiver Steve Breaston and tight end Kevin Boss.
Neither of the moves comes as much of a surprise, as Andy
Reid has begun the process of molding the roster he inherited.
Breaston was one of the league’s top young receivers in
Arizona when he suited up next to Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin. In 2008
Breaston caught 77 passes for 1,006 yards and three touchdowns for the
Cardinals.
After totaling 61 receptions for 785 yards and two
touchdowns in his first season with Kansas City in 2011, Breaston was limited
to 10 games last season and caught only seven passes for 74 yards.
While Breaston figures to sign on with a club this offseason,
the future is not as certain for Boss. The veteran tight end had sustained
several severe concussions throughout his career. One of these limited him to
two games for the Chiefs last season.

Kansas City Chiefs Head Tattoo Takes ‘Fan’dom to a Whole New Level
It’s one thing to get a tattoo of your favorite team anywhere on your body. It’s an entirely different thing to get a gnarly skull tattoo on your skull. The sad thing is this isn’t the worst tattoo I’ve ever seen when it comes to professional sports. By the way, this looks nothing like a Kansas City Chiefs logo at all.
