When watching game film of New York Jets’ 3rd round pick DeMario Davis, one word comes to mind: Boom! The Linebacker from Arkansas State may very well be one of the hardest hitters in this entire draft class. Among that, Davis possesses a very balanced skill set that gives him the potential to be an absolute steal as a third round selection. The young man that has recently drawn...

There is no reason to sugarcoat the reality, this is a make or break year for Sanchez. There isn’t a backup quarterback in the NFL...

Old school is new school for Crennel, Chiefs

KANSAS CITY, Mo. There's a reason you treat Jamaal Charles like a Faberge egg, even though he can already cut on a dime again. There's a reason you take a flier on Peyton Hillis, even though he allegedly pouted his way out of Cleveland. There's a reason you find a creative way to use Dexter McCluster's wheels. And the reason is this: When Romeo Crennel's teams...

After tearing his ACL towards the beginning of last season, Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles says that he’s “80 percent” healthy right now. Charles believes he’ll be the same he was before tearing his ACL. “If you’re worried about me not being the same, just look for this year, look out for me and you’ll see,” Charles said. “I feel like I can do the...

LaDanian Tomlinson says he’s “95 percent” retired

Jim Trotter of SI.com recently spoke with NFL running back LaDanian Tomlinson, who told him that he’s 95% retired. He also said that it would take the right team and situation for him to play again. I don’t expect to see Tomlinson on the field again, since I don’t believe he can contribute the way team’s would need him to. He just doesn’t have what it takes to make...

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter via Evan Silva, both the Cincinnati Bengals and New York Jets are interested in free agent wide receiver Braylon Edwards. Edwards was hobbled by injuries last season while playing for the San Francisco 49ers, which ended up leading to him being released before the end of the season. The Bengals could use a nice complement along with A.J. Green...

Jamaal Charles looking for defenders to “Feel his pain”

Kansas City Chief Jamaal Charles is on a mission for dealing out some pain instead of taking it. The 2nd leading rusher in the NFL in 2010, Charles blew his knee out in week 2 of the 2011 season and went on the IR for the rest of the year.  Charles had a monstrous season in 2010 in which he gained 1,467 yards and his promise had even more momentum.
