Aaron Wilson of Profootball.scout.com reports the Kansas City Chiefs have signed second-round rookie offensive tackle Jeff Allen to a four-year contract, according to a league source with knowledge of the deal. Allen was drafted 44th overall. The 6-foot-4, 306-pounder was a starting left tackle for the Illini for four seasons.
