Bills’ fans want more C.J. Spiller (God knows I do), well, you’re about to get it. Buffalo Bills’ Offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett says that Spiller is going to run the ball “until he throws up”. “It’s real simple,” Hackett said. “We’re going to give him the ball until he throws up. So he’s either got to tap out or throw up on the field. Let’s just put it that way.” Hopefully the 4th-year back out of Clemson has a strong stomach. Spiller has proved to have elite NFL talent from the running back position, and has fans in Buffalo, New York eager for more of what he started last season. Spiller proved he could be relied upon as a featured back last season with the Bills, averaging a league-high (tied with Adrian Peterson) 6 yards per carry. Spiller split time with Fred Jackson in the Buffalo backfield last season, but is expected to carry the load in 2013-14. Spiller FINALLY has what he needs. A coaching staff that is seemingly in his corner as the season approaches. Hacket also doesn’t care if teams know they plan to run a LOT. “It doesn’t matter,” Hackett said. “You can say that because any team that has ever watched him should, I mean, . . . You’ve got to stop C.J. “The great thing is now we have some awesome weapons on the outside that if you do want to stop that guy, I mean, it doesn’t necessarily mean that we’re going to be looking to not make him a focal point. It’s that even though he is a very good player, there are some ways that they can stop him. I mean, they can put everybody down in the box. They can attack you and do all kinds of stuff. So you’re going to have to be able to attack. “I think it’s really exciting to see what’s going on on the outside there, and the happiest guy of them all is C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson.” C.J. compiled 207 carries last season, for an astounding 1,244 rushing yards and 6 rushing TD’s. Spiller is also more than capable catching the ball out of the backfield, and just has that “IT Factor”. Many analysts and fans, alike, expect big things from Spiller this season, and with a vote of confidence like this from his coaching staff, the sky is the limit. The post C.J. Spiller to run ball “until he throws up” appeared first on DOWN & DISTANCE - Presented by Sports-Kings.
