Alex Mack may be one of the toughest Cleveland Browns there is. Mack suffered an appendicitis attack and probably played the entire game against the Titans while under this attack. Coach Pat Shurmur confirmed Mack had to have I.V. fluids before the Titans game. Mack was throwing up the morning of the game. As people already may know, Mack underwent the appendectomy the day after the game. Not bad considering Hilis sat out of the Miami game with a shore throat.
The Browns still don’t know if Mack will be available to start in Oakland Sunday. Pat Shurmur is taking it one day at a time. Mack’s absence would surely be missed by a Browns already suspect offensive line. Joe Thomas has been bothered by a groin injury and by now every should know they lost Steinbach to back surgery before the start of the season. It will take a lot to keep Mack out of the game in my opinion. This guy may be missing a few practices, Alex Mack has not missed a start since coming to the Cleveland Browns….
