The Cleveland Browns have many holes on both sides of the ball, and if Phil Dawson leaves, the Browns will have a major hole on special teams as well. However, the Browns’ biggest area of need is at the wide receiver position. The Browns desperately need to improve their talent and depth at this position. Anyone who observed the Browns’ sputtering offense in 2011 can attest to the fact that the Browns had one of the worst wide receiving corps in the NFL. On Super Bowl Sunday, the world had the opportunity to watch the talents of the man who is best suited to fill this need. Mario Manningham made one of the biggest catches in New York Giants history to set up the Giants’ go-ahead score in the fourth quarter when he hauled in a perfect pass from Eli Manning. While this fact most likely wasn’t on his mind at the time, Manningham has certainly realized at some point that his catch helped earn both his first Super Bowl ring and a higher future salary on the...

Kurt Warner Calls Eli Manning 'Extremely Inconsistent,' Says He's Not a Hall of Famer

Former NFL quarterback Kurt Warner put together an illustrious career during his 12 years with the Rams, Cardinals and Giants. In fact, his four Pro Bowls, two MVP awards and 1999 Super Bowl MVP might one day land him in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Apparently, he doesn't feel Giants QB Eli Manning is worthy of that honor -- at least not yet. During an appearance Tuesday on...

New York Giants Super Bowl XLVI Graphic Novel (PICS)

As a tribute to his beloved New York Giants, user Chris in Philly of BigBlueInteractive.com has taken to creating graphic novels representing each of the team’s recent playoff wins. A few weeks ago, we posted parts 1 & 2 of the novel which presented the Giants victories over the Packers and 49ers in the form of Eli Manning‘s comic book-stylized journal. Belichick: Force throw to Manningham

Before Eli Manning and the Giants took the field for their eventual game-winning drive in Super Bowl XLVI, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick was telling his defense to force New York to throw to wide receiver Mario Manningham.

Belichick’s Plan Backfired in Super Bowl XLVI

With 3:46 remaining in Super Bowl XLVI, the New York Giants trailed the New England Patriots 17-15 and were starting a drive from their own 12-yard line.  Quarterback Eli Manning dropped back and threw a high arching pass down the left sideline.  Wide Receiver Mario Manningham brought the ball in from over his right shoulder between two Patriots defenders and pulled down the ball...

Kurt Warner: Eli not a Hall of Famer … yet

While there’s little doubt that Peyton Manning will one day be inducted into the Hall of Fame, the same can’t be said for his little brother — at least according to a man who himself boasts a Canton-caliber resume. Appearing on Arizona Sports 620 in Phoenix Tuesday (via NFL.com), Kurt Warner, former Super Bowl-winning quarterback-turned-NFL Network analyst, thinks...

The Indianapolis Colts Need to Draft Justin Blackmon if Peyton Manning is Cleared.

Five years ago in the NFL, the draft would be a part of each teams rebuilding process. Teams would draft players that would sit behind veteran players to get them ready to play. They would learn the ins and outs of the game and be mentored by older players. Perfect example is Aaron Rodgers sitting behind Brett Favre in Green Bay. Rodgers got his shot a few seasons back and he ran...
