Colin Kaepernick: A victim of the SI curse?

The outstanding performance by San Francisco 49ers’ Colin Kaepernick has earned him a spot on the cover of Sports Illustrated and exposed him to “the curse”, which most of us know, is the legend of making the cover of SI before a big game leads you to defeat. When Notre Dame was put on the cover before their big game against USC, there were speculations about whether they would be the next victim. They won. Others have not.
