I grew up in the Bay Area of California. I was born in Oakland in 1976, and moved to the Bay Area suburbs in 1986, so watching Bay Area NFL football is just something that I have always done. The Bay Area football fan bases are pretty much separated by the bay water itself. If you stay in the East Bay which is Oakland, Hayward, Richmond, San Leandro etc., you are most likely an Oakland Raiders fan.If you live on the peninsula which is San Francisco, Burlingame, Daly City, and Marin County, which is the north side of the Golden Gate Bridge you are probably a Niners fan.The South Bay where San Jose is located is pretty much an even split between Raiders and 49ers fans.Watching the 49ers this season was a definite treat. Especially after the dark times that the franchise had gone through with the family squabble over ownership of the team and the 49ers product falling off after their 2002 season. But now, these last two seasons have given 49ers fans a whole lot of hope with the arrival of...

The Super Bowl Power Outage Didn’t Help Kaepernick, He Is Just That Good.

When the lights went out at the Super Bowl you could tell the Ravens head coach was worried about his team cooling off and Colin Kaepernick and his San Fransisco 49ers team gaining an advantage in the game. At the time the Ravens were in full control until the lights went out. That wasn’t the reason the 49ers and Kaepernick were able to come back and make a game out of the Super...

Colin Kaepernick Blames Himself For 49ers’ Super Bowl Loss

Last night during Super Bowl 47, 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick looked young and showed his first signs of being a little rattled during a game. Kaepernick still had an awesome game with 302 yards passing and 62 rushing yards.  After the game in a move that displays class, maturity, and leadership, Kaepernick put it all on him, and told CSNBay Area that he made to many mistakes...

The Media Has Resorted To Hyping Up Just How Boring Colin Kaepernick’s Interviews Are

Have we run out of storylines yet? Pretty much, yes. They...

San Francisco Showdown: Kaepernick vs. Montana vs. Young

Colin Kaepernick, a name that caught the entire league off guard once he was named starter at the midpoint of the 2012 season.  Kaepernick, a man that set records in the NCAA that will not be broken in our lifetime, and a man that found himself with the right piece to fully utilize the Pistol offense he dominated with while at Nevada University.  He’s filled with religious tattoos...

Kaepernick nearly leads another 49ers comeback

Colin Kaepernick got tripped up and tossed down, then still nearly led the greatest Super Bowl comeback in just his 10th career NFL start. Rarely rattled on an impressive path to the Super Bowl, San Francisco's second-year quarterback finally showed some inexperience on football's big stage. Not to mention some guts. After a remarkable postseason run - with those speedy...

San Francisco 49ers controversial failed 4th down conversion

With the game on the line on 4th and goal with less than two minutes left, the San Francisco 49ers put the ball in Colin Kaepernick’s hands and it backfired.  The play calling once the 49ers got near the goalline was not very good and it cost them.  The Ravens knew they had to throw the ball and so they made sure to dial up the blitz on 4th down.  Kaepernick had no time to throw...
