Hoping to raise money for leukemia research, an Indianapolis Colts cheerleader will shave her head during Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills (Credit: AP Photo) After Indianapolis Colts’ head coach Chuck Pagano was diagnosed with leukemia earlier this season, the team shaved their heads to show support for their coach. Now, hoping to show support for the coach, one of the team’s cheerleaders will shave her head during Sunday’s game against Buffalo. The cheerleader, whom the Colts have identified only as Megan M., announced on November 11 that she was raising money for leukemia research, and she said that if fans donated a total of at least $10,000 by the Colts’ November 25 game, she would shave her head. As it turned out, fans have already donated $22,670. So during the third quarter on Sunday against the Bills, the Colts’ mascot, Blue, will shave Megan’s head. The Colts have raised over $250,000 dollars for leukemia research.
