Pro Bowlers Charles Tillman and Dwight Freeney have left Sunday's game between the Indianapolis Colts and the Chicago Bears. Freeney, one of the few holdovers on the Colts' heavily remade roster, was listed as questionable to return after injuring an ankle in the first quarter. The linebacker was hurt on the Bears' first scoring drive when he was blocked low and appeared to roll his ankle. Freeney and Robert Mathis, Pro Bowl defensive ends who were among the league's most feared pass rushers, have moved to linebacker this season as the Colts shift to a 3-4 hybrid defense. Tillman also was hurt in the first quarter, limping off the field and appearing to favor his right leg after Indianapolis punted on its first possession. He came back for the next defensive series, but sat out the rest of the half. The Bears announced at the start of the third quarter that he would not return.

Colts OG Reitz to miss Bears game

Indianapolis offensive guard Joe Reitz did not travel with the team to Chicago for Sunday's season opener. The backup did not practice all week after he was kicked in the knee. Luck relies heavily on Fleener in debut

The Indianapolis Colts spent their first two picks in the draft on college teammates in hopes that it would ease their transition to the NFL. And so far, it seems to have worked. Andrew Luck was shaky in his debut, but he definitely looked comfortable working with Coby Fleener. While Reggie Wayne was understandably Luck’s go-to receiver, he also targeted Fleener 10 times on...
