Andrew Luck doesn't care how he got to Hawaii. He's just glad he made it.
The record-setting rookie quarterback says he's enjoying workouts as he prepares to play in his first Pro Bowl game Sunday.
The No. 1 overall draft pick wasn't one of the three quarterbacks originally chosen for the AFC's all-star team. But New England's Tom Brady pulled out because of an injury, one day after the Patriots lost to Baltimore in the AFC Championship game, Luck was added to the roster.
For rookie quarterbacks, earning Pro Bowl selections is a lofty achievement.
But for Luck, is special for another reason. He'll be a teammate of Peyton Manning, his predecessor in Indy and an old friend. Manning's father, Archie, and Luck's father, Oliver, were teammates in Houston.

We already know there are still significant issues on this Broncos team on both sides of the ball. However, do the Broncos go into 2013 with aggressive offseason moves to get them back to the Divisional Playoff round?
NFL.com has confirmed that Tom Brady has been fined $10k for unnecessary roughness for his leg up slide into Ed Reed.
The incident occurred in the second quarter when Brady scrambled for the first down then slide leg first right as Ed Reed approached. After the game Ravens’ Bernard Pollard called Brady out for the action referring to the kick as ‘bullcrap’.
Brady has since apologized t...
This one little play has certainly gotten a lot of attention. With the final seconds of the second quarter counting down, Tom Brady scrambled, was surrounded by defenders, and then slid awkwardly with his leg going right for Reed's, umm, leg. The Patriots went on to kick a field goal while the Ravens went on to win the game. Apparently that wasn't good enough for some of...

Peyton Manning Throws Back A Few
Once the Baltimore Ravens knocked off the Denver Broncos and the possibility of a Peyton Manning versus Tom Brady AFC Championship was eliminated, the next best option for the Super Bowl immediately became a Baltimore-San Francisco match-up. In the AFC Championships second half Joe Flacco looked very Tom Brady-esque. Anquan Boldin shed years off his [...]
“Leg is feeling alright. A little sore right now,” Reed told WJZ-FM on Monday. “A little slide kick (by Brady), you know what I’m saying. But it’s a tough spot the quarterback’s in. You know, I understand Brady’s point. Him protecting himself. I know he’s a great player. I respect Brady and his game for all it stands for, and I know he’s not a dirty player...
This year's Pro Bowl will be the most influential all-star event in recent history. Virtually every pro series in the United States incorporates an all-star event into their schedule, but the NFL's is unique in that it comes at the end of the season. It's always been an afterthought, but if nothing changes this year, it's possible it'll be gone forever.
