Colts lunch: Gonzo as PR, Caldwell snippy, Saturday hopes so

Let's call it a late lunch because, on the first Wednesday of the regular season, a lot of people were talking and a lot of was going on. First of all, Colts coach Jim Caldwell confirmed WR Anthony Gonzalez could be the team's punt returner in Sunday's opener at Houston. Gonzo said during locker room he's never done it before. Caldwell said he likes how Gonzo catches the ball, sees it and reacts to open spaces. "He's got a chance to be," said the coach, who we should playfully rename Mr. Uncertain. Also, it was a different Gonzalez speaking today than the one who implied Monday that he never got a fair shot to win back the No. 2 WR spot from Pierre Garcon. Today, Gonzalez was much more subdued, giving the politically correct comments, defusing the situation with such stuff as, "All questions are answered on Sunday."
