Brown sustained his ankle injury two weeks ago during the
team’s matchup against the Detroit Lions. The running back has been limited to
417 yards on 108 carries this season due to injuries.
Moore started the season with the Colts and spent the first
11 weeks of the year with the team. Over that time he rushed nine times for 14
yards and caught four passes for 36 yards. He operates mostly as a third-down
running back, and interim head coach Bruce Arians is familiar with him from
their days with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
In addition to Brown, the Colts also placed fullback Robert
Hughes on injured reserve and signed running back Deji Karim to take his spot
on their roster.
