The Colts have swapped sixth round draft picks with Philadelphia to add offensive lineman Winston Justice.
Indianapolis sent the second pick in the sixth round to the Eagles for the No. 17 pick.
The move could be another key part of Indy's rebuilding project. Justice has made 31 starts in five seasons with the Eagles and was originally a second round pick in, No. 39 overall, by Philadelphia. That's where new Indy general manager Ryan Grigson worked previously.
The 6-foot-6, 320-pound Justice joins an offensive line that needs an upgrade inside and a veteran to help last year's top two draft picks in 2011, tackles Anthony Castonzo and Ben Ijalana.
The move comes less than 24 hours after receiver Reggie Wayne agreed in principle to a new deal with Indy.

The Eagles trade Offensive lineman Winston Justice to the Colts and the teams swap 6th round picks in the 2012 draft. The swapping of picks move the Eagles up in the draft by 15 spots and save them 4.2 million dollars towards the salary cap. Justice gives the Colts another body up front as they
As free agency starts, and fans everywhere are hoping that "their" team signs "that" guy, I reflected on what the Colts may do in free agency. With the release of Bill and Chris Polian, the Colts may well change their philosophy with respect to flirting with free agency. Ryan Grigson, who was part of the management team that made a splash in free agency last...
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson finally got his big payday - even if it came one year later.
The Eagles signed the Jackson to a five-year, $51 million contract Wednesday in a surprising move after Jackson sulked through much of last season.
"We are thrilled to be able to keep one of the NFL's top playmakers in Philadelphia," Andy Reid said in a news...
The Philadelphia Eagles signed defensive end Trent Cole to a four-year contract extension Wednesday. The extension keeps the 29-year-old with the club through the 2017 season. The two-time Pro Bowler's 68 career sacks have him third all-time on the team's list behind Reggie White and Clyde Simmons.Cole recorded 44 tackles and 11 sacks last season for Philadelphia and is the...
When it was initially filed in federal court last year, the racial/ethnic orgin discrimination lawsuit brought by ex-Indianapolis Colts cheerleader Malori Wampler against the NFL franchise seemed dubious.
(Colts “Moral Standards” Apply To Indonesian Wampler, Not Caucasian Collier?)
Then Colts Cheerleading Coordinator Theresa Pottratz participated in a sworn deposition last...
Eagles re-sign Herrimans The Philadelphia Eagles have signed offensive tackle Todd Herremans to a three-year contract extension, and he's now under contract through the 2010 season.
He started every game last season. "We are excited to be able to sign Todd to a new contract," Eagles coach Andy Reid said. "Todd's intelligence, toughness, durability, and leadership...
In a shocking turn of events, Reggie Wayne will be returning to the only team he’s ever called home.
Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Colts agreed to a three-year contract with Wayne, bringing the veteran receiver back to Indy as, presumably, Andrew Luck’s top future target.
NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora reports the pact is worth a “max” of $17.5 million.
This is a particularly...
WASHINGTON—It looks like former Colt Pierre Garcon wide receiver will get the honor of being the target-of-choice for QB Robert Griffin III.
If the Redskins pick Griffin (which they will), Garcon has just set himself up for the long haul.
Garcon just posted the following message on his Facebook page.
“I wanted you all to hear it from me 1st before u saw it on the news… I...
According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Eagles have signed tackle Todd Herremans to a three-year extension.
The 29 year-old Herremans has been with the Eagles for his entire seven-year career and has been one of the key components of their offensive line.
A 3-4 Defensive End out of Nebraska, Jared Crick is a potential dancing partner for the Indianapolis Colts in the upcoming draft. With the assumed transition to a 3-4 defense and the shopping around of Dwight Freeney the Colts are also badly in the need of a defensive end that can hold the edge. Jared Crick is a potential guy for the Colts to take a look at early in the draft...
Hot News for OT Todd Herremans
Pro Football Talk is reporting that some teams are “getting worn out” by the Peyton Manning process. This makes perfect sense to me. After all, it has been a week since he was released by the Indianapolis Colts and teams just need to get moving with their offseason plans.
At this point, the four teams that are favorites to land Manning are in a holding pattern until he makes...
