All eyes will be on Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck Sunday in Chicago in his NFL debut, and his job just got a little easier.

Head coach Chuck Pagano said Monday that wide receiver Austin Collie would play after missing the last two preseason games with a concussion.

“Full go. Yep,” Pagano said. And Pagano, on how Collie looked in practice: “Fresh legs. Ran all over the place. Caught everything. Looked great.”

Austin Collie could play against Bears on Sunday

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver, Austin Collie, could be ready to go next Sunday when the Colts play the Bears in their season opener. Collie, one of the most concussed players in the league, is coming off his 4th concussion in under 2 years. Since his most recent blow to the head, many, including us here at TGS, have wondered whether Collie should take whatever health...

Collie set to play in season opener

Colts coach Chuck Pagano likes what he's seeing from veteran receiver Austin Collie in practice and says Collie should play in Sunday's season opener at Chicago. Collie's status has been in doubt since he left the second preseason game at Pittsburgh after taking a shot to the head. It was the third diagnosed concussion for Collie in a little more than 22 months. He left...

Austin Collie Fully Practices Monday

Colts receiver Austin Collie was a full participant at practice on Monday. Collie sufffered a concussion earlier in the preseason.Fantasy Spin:It looks like Collie is a go for Sunday's game against Chicago, though we wouldn't risk taking him in the early rounds of any fantasy drafts given his well-documented injury history.

Got luck, Andrew will need it to replace an NFL icon

Andrew Luck of the Indianapolis Colts has all eyes on him by the fans, organization and critics. The pressure of being the first pick in the draft is immense. Some will watch in support, others to critique and criticize. Now imagine you’re the first pick and a quarterback. The target on your back just increased tenfold as now you will touch the ball nearly every offensive play...

Top offensive AFC rookie prospects for 2012

When it comes to offensive rookies in the AFC, there’s one name that immediately comes to mind: Andrew Luck. Looking beyond Luck, though, this is a draft that featured some interesting picks throughout. There weren’t multiple teams who managed to rebuild their entire offenses through the draft, as there are in some years. Instead, most [...]

The 2012 NFL season is upon us, which means that football is finally back to give us reason to live once again. That also means the return of betting season for some. As always, there plenty of interesting prop bets for fans and bettors alike to look at, in an attempt to gauge what could be on the way for their favorite teams and players this season. Indianapolis Colts Season Preview: Why 2012 Won’t Suck (That Much)

Last season, the Indianapolis Colts sucked. That goes without saying (even though I went ahead and said it). It sucked for fans, for the players, and for the career of the most decorated quarterback in NFL history. 2012 will not suck for the Colts. Now, let me explain something. When I say it “won’t suck,” do not mistake that for me saying the Colts will win the Super Bowl...

Indianapolis Colts Preseason Review: What's the Progress on Building the Monster?

The preseason is over. A week from today at Soldier Field in Chicago, Andrew Luck and the rest of the "new era" Indianapolis Colts will take the field for meaningful football. Before we begin our usual week of breaking down the opponent and analyzing that week's game, let's take a look back at the preseason as a whole and make some observations about what the...

Guys I love. An analysis of my fantasy rosters… Donald Brown, Alshon Jeffery, Andrew Luck among the most owned

In the world of fantasy sports, there is no truer way to understand how you really feel about players than looking at your rosters. I spent hours upon hours compiling my cheat sheets, ranking players, making adjustments, etc. and I think it paid off in a round of fairly solid drafts… my ranks told me [...]

AFC South prediction 2012

AFC South I think this will be one of the earlier decided divisions, as the South consists of Houston and everyone else. The biggest question I see is how far the Texans can go in the playoffs. With a little luck on the health front, this could be as good a team as anyone else in the league. Houston Texans: As long as the big three offensive playmakers stay healthy the Texans are...
