If you read the Officials report blog we had last week, you would have seen this crew had two tripping penalties in the New Orleans-Buffalo game it worked.
So it was not a surprise to see Andre Gurode called for a trip. That put the Cowboys in a second-and-20 situation on the previous drive that ultimately led to a Tony Romo fumble.
A delay of game penalty put the Cowboys in a third-and-10. Tashard Choice picked up the first down but it was called back because of the flag. The Cowboys cannot put themselves in such bad situations against a defense that will vary its looks.
