Matt Mosley reports that the Dallas Cowboys are “cautiously optimistic” they will have RB DeMarco Murray for Sunday night’s matchup against the Eagles. Mosley added that “this is the first time I’ve actually believed Murray has a shot at playing.” Murray put in another practice on Thursday, but figures to split carries with Felix Jones this weekend. There’s no question that having Murray back in the lineup will help their offensive production, but Jones has been better than expected in the last few weeks.
