At the beginning of the season Mat McBriar said San Diego punter Mike Scifres would be the likeliest candidate to hit the 90-foot-high digitial board at Cowboys Stadium. So far, the digital board has been a non-story, just as the Cowboys predicted even after Tennessee's A.J. Trapasso hit it in the preseason. Since then, no one has hit it and I don't remember it being hit in the warmups either. Tim Sullivan of the San Diego Union Tribune has a Scifres column here, and the strong-legged punter doesn't want to hit the deal because of the do-over rule.
