The Cowboys were one of 26 teams that attended TCU’s pro day on Friday and came away impressed. The Cowboys had commented during the season that they were a fan of quarterback Andy Dalton. Dalton was said to be very impressive during the pro day and is projected to go somewhere between the 2nd and 4th round.
The Cowboys have reportedly told Dalton that are going to set up a private workout with him at some point. Dalton already has private workouts set up with the Bears, Browns, Chiefs and Patriots. If the Cowboys do draft Dalton it would end ties with one of their back ups either Jon Kitna or Stephen McGee.
Dalton was an outstanding college quaterback and would definalty be a fan favorite in Dallas since he attended TCU, but should the Cowboys take a shot on him? Is the Tony Romo era coming to an end? Do the Cowboys need another young backup? Can Dalton play at NFL level?
