Pro Football Zone:
Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten underwent a CT scan on Tuesday to find out if he’s healthy enough to be cleared for tonight’s season opener against the Giants.
Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com brought up an interesting point by mentioning the fact that the Cowboys listed Witten as doubtful for tonight’s game and haven’t said anything about the CT scan. This likely means they’ll make everyone, including the Giants, wait until game time to find out Witten’s fate.
I agree with Florio’s take on the situation, but I’d be very surprised if Witten actually plays.
