Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray was able to
return to practice yesterday, but he still isn’t expected to play when they
take on the Philadelphia Eagles this Sunday, reports Calvin Watkins of
Murray, who leads the Cowboys
with 330 rushing yards on 75 carries, missed the last three games with a
sprained foot and isn't expected to play Sunday at the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Cowboys have said that Murray must pass a series of tests before he’s able to retake the field. He has passes some of them, but
Dallas wants him to be 100% before returning.
Defensive lineman Jay Ratliff (ankle) missed practice
yesterday, as did defensive lineman Sean Lissemore (ankle), center Phil Costa
(ankle) and safety Matt Johnson (hamstring). Linebacker Dan Connor, who missed
last weekend’s game due to a neck injury, returned for his second consecutive
day of practice on Thursday.
