While they were able to defeat the Carolina Panthers
yesterday, the Dallas Cowboys lost a pair of starters, center Phil Costa and
linebacker Sean Lee, to injury, reports Brandon George of The Dallas Morning
News. Costa dislocated his right ankle and Lee sprained his right big toe.
Jerry Jones on Costa’s injury:
“He subluxed his ankle, which
kind of rolls it,” Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said of Costa’s injury. “You think
of a subluxed shoulder, in and out [of the socket]. It could be something that
we look at hard, maybe a severe sprain. It’s not a high ankle sprain, so I’m
not ruling him out at all for anything and that’s about all I know about him.”
Costa was replaced by Ryan Cook yesterday, and his status
for next week’s game against the New York Giants is in doubt. He will undergo
an MRI today to determine the extent of the injury.
Lee will also undergo an examination on his right big toe,
but he told reporters following the game that he expects to be available
against the Giants.

Analysis on the Dallas Cowboy’s Play
What Went Right The Cowboys on Sunday against the Panthers displayed the ability to overcome diversity. This is a trait that every great team in the last decade has shown, and it is great to finally see a glimmer of it in our team. As Sean Lee came out of the game with an ankle injury, we lost not only our leading tackler, but our defensive general as well. However, Dan Conner stepped...
Cowboys can't trust their offense, even in a win
With a 19-14 win at Carolina on Sunday, the Cowboys proved they could win a game and avoid the costly mistakes of the previous shortfall at Baltimore.
They also proved they can't trust their offense. And with good reason.
The key moment came late in the fourth quarter with the Cowboys trailing by one and facing third-and-nine at the Carolina 15 yard line.
A team with a lot of...
Is Tony Romo in Trouble?
Tony Romo has faced his fair share of critics during his time in the NFL, and most of them are very valid. Romo’s numbers have been very sub-par at multiple times in his career. He has a cannon for an arm and always can sling it to his wide-out. But it’s those pesky turnovers that get him in trouble. And it’s not just a few turnovers; Its constant.
His career got off to...
Cowboys Win, but Penalties Continue to stifle the Offense
The Cowboys were able to defeat a bad 1-4 Carolina Panthers team, but barely and now the Cowboys get back to a very mediocre 3-3 record for the year. After six games, the Cowboys have an identity, which is a conservative and penalty making thirsty team. We are still a bad team, and you can definitely expect more of the same type of games. The Cowboys have absolutely proven the penalty...
Jerry Jones Fine With Jason Garrett’s Play Calling

Some poor Dallas Cowboys fan is going to blow their gasket after reading this article. Week in and week out, Cowboys fans cringe at head coach Jason Garrett’s play calling in tight situations.

Dallas Cowboys stuck in world of doom and gloom, we're left wondering why?
By the off chance that you've been cryogenically frozen for the past seven weeks, here's a quick update on the Dallas Cowboys 2012 season. They dismantled the New York Giants in week 1, got manhandled by Seattle in week 2, won a not-as-close-as-it-looks game against Tampa Bay in week 3, got manhandled again by Chicago in week 4, and then were able to wrestle defeat from the...

Cowboys beat the Carolina Panthers, but what does that mean about this team?
I’m selling! You buying?
Your Dallas Cowboys are 3 up and 3 down after six games in the 2012 NFL season. The Cowboys beat the Carolina Panthers on Sunday in a less-than-riveting game and by a hardly-impressive margin.
