Here's Todd Archer's camp notebook SAN ANTONIO - For the first time since last season, Nick Folk handled some kickoffs Friday, and his surgically repaired right hip felt fine. Folk had hip surgery in May and kicked on back-to-back days for the first time Thursday. Before Friday's practice, Folk made three field goal attempts from 51 yards, and two of his kickoffs reached the goal line. "Everything's fine," Folk said. "It's getting there. It's a little sore, but that's to be expected. We've just got to push through it and take some breaks. But it's feeling better than it did all of last year." Folk said he was bothered the last five weeks of the 2008 season with the hip pain, but, when rest did not fix the problem, he elected to have the surgery.
