NFL Trade Rumors:
Calvin Watkins of ESPN Dallas reports that the Cowboys believe Linebacker Bruce Carter will need to undergo season-ending surgery on his elbow.
Carter dislocated his left elbow in the second half of Dallas loss against the Redskins on Thursday. Carter has been filling in for Sean Lee who was lost for the season after suffering a toe injury back in October. Although Carter will look for a second opinion, team officials believe that the surgery will be done next week.
The recent blow to the Cowboys defensive unit will force them to move forward with Ernie Sims and Dan Connor for the foreseeable future.

If I’ve ever said that the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders weren’t in my top five it’s because I never came across these pictures. I’ve been ranting and raving about the Texans and Bucs girls. Oh and I can’t forget the Dolphins girls. But you just can’t count out one of the more prestigious and historic groups in the history of cheerleading.
The Dallas girls looked...

It’s been obvious that Austin hasn’t been healthy all season. Seems like he picked up right where he left off...
Anthony Spencer wont come out and say hes having a good year, but hes having a good year.
The Cowboys outside linebacker already has a career-best 6.5 sacks to go along with 57 total tackles, two forced fumbles and seven quarterback hurries.
The Cowboys placed their franchise tag on the 28-year-old former first-round pick during the offseason, meaning Spencer is playing...
Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray has not played since Week 6. According to head coach Jason Garrett, the running back is still working on being able to push off with his sprained left foot.
Garrett and the Cowboys have not said that Murray suffered a set back. Still one has to wonder when there was initial belief that Murray would return in Week 8 and there has still been...
The Cowboys released wide receiver Andre Holmes over the weekend, according to the NFL transactions page.
A 6-foot-4 target out of Hillsdale College, Holmes was one of the most prominent names in the preseason race to become the Cowboys' No. 3 receiver, but he only managed two catches for 11 yards in seven games this season.
He also played on special teams for the Cowboys...
When something happens once, it can be seen as creative or entertaining. When it happens again, it is far less humorous. That is the case when a Dallas Cowboys fan from the state of Georgia started a petition to President Obama to force change of their favorite team. It has also happened with the Auburn Tigers when some fans asked Obama to fire Gene Chizik.
They got their wish, although...
The only thing we hate more than fist pounds around these parts is the Dallas Cowboys, so many thanks to Hogs Haven for sharing this video of Jerry Jones and co. making things as delightfully awkward as possible.
Jerry Jones has said that he has no interest in relinquishing his duties as the man in charge of the Dallas Cowboys. So a Georgia man decided to see if the President of the United States could do something about it, the Dallas Morning News reports.
In the petitions section of the White House website, one was created for President Barack Obama to have Jones removed from his control...
The Cowboys are 5-6 and just suffered a disheartening loss to division rival Washington, but the teams executive vice president, Stephen Jones, isnt making preparations for a long off-season, Rainer Sabin of the Dallas Morning News reports. Rather, he believes Dallas still has a shot at making the playoffs.
Absolutely, he said. Weve got just as good a chance as anybody...
