The Cowboys could be without starting tailback Felix Jones after the team listed him as questionable on Friday’s official injury report.
Plagued by a sore hamstring, Jones did not practice all week.
Still, Jerry Jones said he is optimistic his fellow Arkansas alum will play against the Eagles.
“It would surprise me if Felix does not go,” the owner told Dallas’ KRLD-FM. “On the other hand, it would be madness not to recognize he hasn’t practiced all week, so you better have another plan in place.”
If Jones can’t play, 12th-year pro Sammy Morris would start. The 34-year-old Jay graduate was signed last week after DeMarco Murray suffered a season-ending ankle injury in the loss to the Giants on Dec. 11.
Despite not playing since he was cut by New England after the preseason, Morris logged 12 carries for 53 yards in last week’s win at Tampa Bay.
