Found August 27, 2013 on NFL Trade Rumors:
The Dallas Cowboys placed veteran DT Jay Ratliff on the reserve/PUP list Tuesday. There was hope that Ratliff would be able to return from a hamstring injury in time for the team’s Week 1 match up against the Giants, but that unfortunately wasn’t the case. Ratliff, 31, has been sitting out of the team’s training camp practices and won’t be eligible to play until Week 7. Ratliff was rumored to be a potential roster cut a few months go due to the fact that he still has a considerable amount of money on his contract. It’s doubt that Ratliff will see even a good portion of the over $20 million still remaining on his current deal. Dallas will likely move forward with Jason Hatcher and Sean Lissemore at defensive tackle. The post Cowboys Place DT Jay Ratliff On PUP List appeared first on NFL Trade Rumors -.

Ratliff is pretty much done in Dallas. Look for the Cowboys to reload the position in the 2014 draft.

Cowboys offense evolves from idealistic to realistic

If you can read anything from the preseason (and we all know it is dangerous to think you can), then you attempt to carefully read the one time in the exhibition season where both teams admit they are running out the starters for an elongated amount of time. And when that "dress rehearsal" week is against a team that has been in the playoffs in 2011 and 2012 and is attempting...
