The Dallas Cowboys promoted cornerback Vincent Agnew and cut linebacker Gary Guyton in preparation for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles, according to the team's website. The moves were made Saturday because of cornerback Mike Jenkins' back injury. Agnew was called up from the practice squad to replace him. To make room, the team parted with Guyton. Jenkins is listed as questionable on the team's injury report, but Agnew will likely play Sunday. Guyton, who spent four seasons with the New England Patriots, joined the Cowboys during the week and practiced through Friday as the team's 3-4 defense has been thin at linebacker due to injuries. Despite that, he was cut Saturday. That suggests that Dan Connor, who is listed as doubtful with a stinger, might be able to play.
