Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray returned to practice Thursday but only participated on a limited basis, according to the team’s official injury/practice report released this afternoon. Murray didn’t practice Wednesday and said the team was just using precaution with him as he recovers from a sprained left foot. Four players didn’t practice Thursday: starting nose tackle Jay Ratliff (strained groin), starting left guard Nate Livings (right knee), reserve safety Charlie Peprah (sprained right foot) and nickel cornerback Orlando Scandrick (broken left hand). Peprah isn’t expected to play Sunday at Cincinnati, but he said in the locker room that his right foot has improved and he hopes to return soon.
