There was a stage set in Arlington,Texas on Sunday. The Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills are both, as franchises, the same age. The Cowboys were the NFL’s first expansion team, founded in 1960, while the Bills were founded the same year in the AFL. In the 51-year history of both franchises, they had only met 10 times before Sunday. Before Sunday there were implications abound for a great game between these two-storied franchises. These are two good football teams that are both quarterback’s by draft day throw aways. Buffalo’s Ryan Fitzpatrick was drafted by the Rams in 2005 with the 250th overall pick, five picks away from being undrafted. Tony Romo, of course, went undrafted in 2003. The glaring difference between the two of them is that Fitzpatrick has flown under the radar as a Harvard graduate for the last five years while Romo is expected to both win and lose at seemingly the same time.
