According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, the Dallas Cowboys really like free agent offensive lineman Tyson Clabo. A stalwart for the Falcons, he got caught in a cap crunch. The Cowboys really like him and remain in contact with him and need to make this move. Get rid of Doug Free and his $7 million salary and give Clabo his $3.5 million-$4 million and call it an upgrade. I know Dallas is in a cap crunch, but after a questionable draft, upgrading some offensive line personnel now would be wise. And the Dolphins are now in on Clabo, too, hosting him for a visit starting Tuesday night. La Canfora is right, the Cowboys need to move on from Doug Free.  He’s simply not the player Clabo is and it would be a significant upgrade for their offensive line.   Need NFL Tickets?
1 Comment:
  • JJ, should get steven to write up a contract for Clabo with incentives along with Eric Winston from K.C. to prove to the Dallas Nation He is for real and wants to win. Cause This Band-Aids of a Offensive lineman each year will not do it for getting the cowboys to the big show. Many of our star people are getting old and we need to protect Tony Romo now not later. JJ had a chance to get more in draft and failed, its time to pay up now and get more protection for Romo, pass on Free he has had his day.
