(Eds: APNewsNow. Will be updated. With AP Photos.) By SCHUYLER DIXON AP Sports Writer Tony Romo is scrambling and throwing and he's protecting the ball, too. The Dallas Cowboys quarterback was still getting asked about his mad scramble in Philadelphia four days after he saved a drive that led to a tying score. Romo escaped the grasp of one pass rusher and made another grab air before completing a 25-yard pass to Miles Austin. Lost in the hoopla of the 38-23 win was Romo having his second straight turnover-free game. He still has a league-high 13 interceptions, and will always have the reputation as a free-wheeler who can be careless with the ball. The Cowboys will need the elusive combination of magical plays and no interceptions if they want to make a playoff push starting with three straight home games. Cleveland visits Sunday.

Week 11 NFL Cheat Sheet

Before the 2012 NFL season started, I picked the Cowboys to qualify for the playoffs as one of the NFCs two wild-card teams. Naturally, I heard about it. You happen to be one of my favorite NFL writers, but the odd love affair you have with Romo keeps you from...

One of the more infuriating parts of watching the Dolphins-Bills game last night — aside of the fact Miami couldn’t get anything going after a few impressive defensive stands — was the NFL Network continually reminding people that their brand of Thursday Night Football would return in two weeks.
