It's been a helluva week for the Dallas Cowboys. Mostly for owner Jerry Jones, whose went from rants about (what he interprets as) gloryholes to laying down the law to Dez Bryant to emphatically predicting victory over the division-rival Giants. Thankfully, Jones was not in too talkative of a mood on Friday, but probably had a word or twenty after losing a potential diamond in the rough. Per DallasCowboys.com, rookie receiver Cole Beasley has quit the team -- and possibly football -- for "personal reasons." More accurately, because his "heart is not in football right now," a source told the website. Upon learning of his decision, Cowboys VP Stephen Jones "made deliberate attempts to convince him to stay." Their pleas must've fallen on deaf ears; Beasley never showed for the two-hour afternoon practice. Beasley, signed as an undrafted free agent by way of SMU, has thoroughly impressed coaches this offseason with a display of sure-han...

Giants Owner John Mara Takes Shots At Jerry Jones and Tim Tebow

Jerry Jones has been talking a lot junk lately about the Giants, they seem to be his main focus this season. “I want everyone on our team with their mind on the Giants because that’s who we open up with,” Jones said. “That’s our first real deal, and that’s why they’re getting my attention.” Funny thing is John Mara or the Giants aren’t even concerned with...

Dallas Cowboys rookie cornerback Morris Claiborne could miss at least a week with a sprained left knee. Claiborne watched the team's walk-through practice Saturday morning standing by a coach. He says it's frustrating to miss more time. The Cowboys drafted Claiborne with the sixth overall pick in April after trading up eight spots and giving up their second-round pick....

Jason Garrett Says Cowboys WR Dez Bryant Has Been 'Outstanding' At Camp

Dez Bryant has been tearing up training camp this year, and so far, he’s looking every bit like the first-round player the Cowboys moved up to get. That’s also how coach Jason Garrett sees the third-year wide receiver, whom he described as "outstanding" in Friday’s noon press conference...

Dallas Cowboys: Dez Bryant Firing Drew Rosenhaus Brilliant Move

A shark is going hungry tonight. NFL agent, Drew Rosenhaus, owns a giant client roster and an even bigger ego.
