Cornerback Mike Jenkins is receiving interest from multiple
clubs as the new league year approaches, but the free agent’s former club, the
Dallas Cowboys, are not one of the interested teams, according to Calvin
Watkins of ESPN Dallas.

The Cowboys selected Jenkins in the first round of the 2008
NFL Draft. He’s since made 48 starts for the club, but he was relegated to a
reserve role last season. He finished the year with only 14 tackles and no
interceptions over 13 games played.
Jenkins found himself replaced in the team’s starting
defense by free agent acquisition Brandon Carr and top draft pick Morris Claiborne.
Dallas no longer has a clear role for Jenkins, who figures to sign elsewhere
