Nick Eatmon of DallasCowboys.com writes that Cowboys S Gerald Sensabaugh could be released due to their current cap issues. As of right now, the Cowboys are projected to be $20 million over the cap, so there’s no doubt that they’ll be forced to consider making some tough roster moves. Sensabaugh, 29, has been more of a liability for the Cowboys in the secondary in recent years. Dallas could save around $3 million by releasing him before the start of the new league year on March 12th. Should Sensabaugh be released, the Cowboys would have another area of need to address at some point during the offseason. Other players like OT Doug Free, ILB Dan Connor, WR Miles Austin and DT Jay Ratliff have all been mentioned as other candidates to be released.
