The Dallas Cowboys signed cornerback Frank Walker on Tuesday to help bolster an ailing secondary.
Walker, who was in training camp with Tennessee, has spent time with four teams over his eight-year career.
Dallas is expected to be without Orlando Scandrick for Sunday's game against San Francisco, and possibly longer. Fellow cornerbacks Terrence Newman and Mike Jenkins have been dealing with nagging injuries of their own.
The Cowboys released tight end Martin Rucker to make room on the roster for Walker.
