The Dallas Cowboys signed offensive guard Montrae Holland to a two-year contract even though he didn’t play a single game in 2009. Holland is the only unrestricted free agent left.
I do not personally have an issue with this signing but I am wondering if it is a sign that Jerry Jones is having money problems a year after opening the billion-dollar Cowboys Stadium. The Cowboys allowed Tony Romo to be sacked more than he has ever been in his career, despite two members of the offensive line making it to the Pro Bowl as first selections.
Why didn’t Jerry go after Alan Faneca?
Not only is Jerry ignoring adding strength to the offensive line, he has not signed a check to add a safety in the secondary who can make plays.
Why isn’t Darren Sharper wearing silver and blue right now, preparing to have another stellar season despite his age?
Go ahead and yell at me if I am wrong, but is Alan Ball the answer? Is Montrae Holland the answer?

Yeah, Jerry's got money problems. He has so much of it, he doesn't know what to do with it.
