According to Jason LaCanfora of the NFL Network, the Dallas Cowboys have placed their franchise tag on linebacker Anthony Spencer.
Spencer has been a bit of a disappointment for the Cowboys since he was drafted in the first round of the 2007 draft. But right now he’s the best option they have at outside linebacker and the Cowboys will look to get him signed to a multi-year deal as the offseason rolls on.
