Cowboys observers expect the strong side of the defense to look different next season. That means the team is likely to replace DRE Kenyon Coleman and allow LOLB Anthony Spencer to test the free-agent market. Coleman was a placeholder, nothing more. Although he's a strong run defender, Spencer simply hasn't developed as a pass rusher the way the team had hoped. He could return, but the Cowboys won't spend a lot to keep him.

2012 Dallas Cowboy Free Agent List; Hard Decisions Coming Soon
The Dallas Cowboys will have some hard decisions to make very soon concerning their free agents. Nick Eatman of dallascowboys.com released a breakdown of all the Cowboy free agents on the current roster on Friday. In this article, I will go through the list and attempt to assign a value to each player and determine if they are worth keeping.
But first, let’s take a look at...
Dallas Cowboys: Who Should Be Their Top Free Agent or Draft Day Target?
Dallas dropped 4 of their last 5 games, including a 14-31 loss to the Giants that bounced them from the playoffs. Dallas fixed one of their major problems last season, the offensive line (although it could have been better by moving Colombo to guard and upgrading two positions with Smith). Dallas also found out their receiving corps is the DEEPEST in the league, they are set at running...
Laurant Robinson Wants to Re-sign with the Cowboys
Wide receiver Laurant Robinson was one of the few bright spots during a disappointing season for the Dallas Cowboys. He ended leading the team in touchdown receptions after being picked up as free agent during the season.
Robinson has indicated that he wants to come back next season and doesn’t care if he’s starting or not.
“I think I fit in good here, you know, getting...

Daniels told the Dallas Observer, “We can’t host WrestleMania the next two years because of NCAA Regional in ’13 and Final Four in ’14. We’ve talked with them and gave it a shot but couldn’t make the schedule work.”
Jon Kitna's Seahawks Legacy
With the reports that Jon Kitna is retiring from football, I thought it would be a good time to look back at Kitna's time with the Seahawks over a decade ago. After leaving Seattle, Kitna carved out a nice career mostly as a competent back up with a few memorable stretches as a starter (particularly in Cincinnati). He threw for almost 30,000 yards and 169 touchdowns over his...
Jason Garrett Retains Cowboys Playcalling Duties
When the Dallas Cowboys announced the hiring of Bill Callahan on Thursday, they gave him the title not only of offensive line coach, which was completely expected, but offensive coordinator--which wasn’t really expected at all.
But despite the title, head coach Jason Garrett will continue to call plays for the Cowboys in 2012.
Callahan has built a good reputation as an offensive...
