(Eds: APNewsNow. Will be updated. With AP Photos.) By SCHUYLER DIXON AP Sports Writer Dez Bryant may finally be ready to stop being a riddle.
The Cowboys receiver has been great one game and hard to find the next. He created a scene at a mall one year, then trouble with the law the next.
But now he has multiple 100-yard receiving games for the first time, including a career-best 145 yards in last weekend's 23-20 overtime win against Cleveland.
The question heading into a Thanksgiving showdown with Washington is whether Bryant has finally arrived in his third NFL season.
Even the eternal Cowboys optimist - owner Jerry Jones - isn't ready to give a definitive answer. He's reluctant to say Bryant is ''doing good,'' but will say he's ''doing better.''

As the Cowboys navigate past the 10 game barrier in their season and in to the stretch drive, we now have enough data to begin to learn about this team based on what they do well and more importantly, it seems, what they don't do well at all.
We know that this team has the fewest 10 play drives in the NFL. Of the Cowboys 112 drives, only 11 have lasted 10 plays. That is lower...
ESPN Dallas is reporting that Cowboys halfback Lance Dunbar underwent a minor knee procedure after Sunday's win over Cleveland.Fantasy Spin:This puts his status in question for Thursday's game against Washington. Dunbar isn't really a usable fantasy player anyway, especially with DeMarco Murray slated to return from injury any week now. For now, Felix Jones will handle...
While the Cowboys defensive coordinator conceded that Robert Griffin III is "a tremendous athlete," Ryan nevertheless said he does not like the Redskins quarterback.
Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray (foot) didn't practice Monday and is not expected to play versus Washington Thursday on Thanksgiving. SOURCE: Fort Worth Star-TelegramFantasy Spin:Murray hasn't played since Oct. 14 because of an injured foot and remains week-to-week. Felix Jones was limited with a knee ailment but should be ready for Thursday.
As the editor-in-chief of a popular sports comedy blog, I get two kinds of e-mails: the ones from people who have no idea who I am, but want a link anyway (sample: “HI JOSH, Spring is around the corner, here are the 50 greatest boobtacular moments in sports”), and the ones from porn tubes who just learned something about sports and think I should know about it.In the interest...

Cowboys halfback Felix Jones missed practice on Tuesday because of a sore knee.Fantasy Spin:He was originally slated to be the team's starter Thursday against Washington but now his availability is somewhat in question. Lance Dunbar and Phillip Tanner both saw first team reps in practice on Tuesday. They'll probably split carries Thursday if Jones can't play.
Almost exactly one year ago, Rob Ryan drew criticism for his remarks about Tim Tebow and the (former) Broncos offense.
True to his character, Dallas' defensive boss turned his attention to this year's sensational signal-caller.
In advance of the Thanksgiving day tilt between the Redskins and Cowboys, Ryan said he doesn't like Robert Griffin III, but also admitted he...
As it stands right now, there are eight teams in the NFC with a realistic chance of making the playoffs, with six weeks left in the season. The problem is; there will be a maximum of four spots available for those eight teams.Just two weeks ago, I would have said the New York Giants were a lock to win the NFC East, but with consecutive losses to the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati...
