Crabtree on Eagles' radar?
Last year I worked with a guy who is friends with someone in the front office. He told me that Michael Crabtree was on the Eagles' radar and that Big Red was in love with this guy. I was watching highlights of him on you tube and the first thing I thought of was 2004 when the Eagles had Owens and how good McNabb and the offense was then. Now, with Desean Jackson, Curtis, and Crabtree, and of course Westbrook in the backfield, not to mention our rebuilt offense of line, I get chills when I think of how good our offense could be. I;m sure the Eagles have plenty of guys on their radar. And I'm sure Crabtree is at the top of the list of many teams. And I did read some things about Crabtree recently about possibly being a diva and all that. But I would go apesh*t if they somehow traded up to get him. Of course everything is pointing to a running back (Moreno) to eventually replace Westbrook. Maybe a tight end for the red zone or a defensive end to compliment Trent Cole is in the works. We'll have to see. I know my source was a year ago and it may not be that strong, but don't be shocked if it happens...
