Crazy Colts Fan - Indianapolis Colts Sign Darrius Heyward-Bey Indianapolis has signed former Oakland Raiders wide receiver and first-round pick Darrius Heyward-Bey to a contract, and in doing so could possibly have one of the best young groups of wide receivers in the NFL. Heyward-Bey has yet to fulfill his potential in the NFL. Since Oakland drafted him the Raiders have either focused on the run or just been flat out bad. Jason Campbell, Bruce Gradkowski, Carson Palmer--none of the QBs the Raiders have had since Rich Gannon hung it up have been very good. In Indianapolis he will certainly not have those issues. Andrew Luck is a rising star and the Colts are definitely a pass first team. So if the talent is there, he will have a chance to show it. The Indianapolis Colts may have managed to do the incredible with their latest acquisition They might have found the final piece of the puzzle and effectively completed the rebuilding process from their dreadful 2-14 season.
