TEAMS: Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants

The first regular season NFL game gave football fans just about everything they wanted last night. Close game. Rivals. Just enough scoring.
And for fantasy owners, waiver wire fodder.
Kevin Ogletree, the Cowboys No. 3 wide receiver, went off last night against the Giants’ suspect secondary. Ogletree led the Cowboys in targets, catching eight passes for 114 yards and two touchdowns:
So the most popular fantasy football question today is obvious: Should you pick up Kevin Ogletree in your fantasy league?
It’s hard to say no. Players come out of nowhere every year, like Victor Cruz last year. Ogletree certainly is in a position that can be lucrative. Just remember what Laurent Robinson did with that No. 3 spot in Dallas last year.
I think if you are in a PPR league he is worth claiming. Especially in deeper leagues (14+ teams). Dez Bryant and Miles Austin will keep the pressure off him, and you could tell last night that Tony Romo trusts him (went to him on 3rd down late in the 4th quarter to seal the win).
Don’t overspend, though, because it was just one week from a guy who had done next-to-nothing the first three years of his NFL career. Because while there will be other Victor Cruzs on the waiver wire this year, there also will be Frizman Jacksons.
