Found October 17, 2013 on The Football Fan Spot:
Last week: 10 (-1) Record: 3-3 The Cowboys would be higher on this list if it wasn’t for the sheer volume of injuries they’ve suffered. DeMarcus Ware, Jay Ratliff, Jason Hatcher, and Anthony Spencer were supposed to be their starters on the defensive line this season. Spencer is out for the season. Ratliff has yet to play this season and has all but been ruled out for the remainder of the season. DeMarcus Ware, meanwhile, is now dealing with an injury that could cost him anywhere from a week to a month. Offensively, DeMarco Murray is now hurt (surprise) and will miss multiple weeks probably, which threatens to ruin a ground game that had thus far been one of the best in the NFL. Cowboys DE Ware likely out against Eagles

It's looking like the Dallas Cowboys will be without Pro Bowl defensive end DeMarcus Ware for Sunday's game in Philadelphia. Ware, who has never missed a game since Dallas drafted him in 2005, suffered a strained right quad in the first half of last Sunday's 31-16 win over Washington. Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones says the team will be conservative with...

Cowboys DE Ware's quad injury may be mild

IRVING, Texas Dallas Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Ware has never missed a game in his Hall-of-Fame-caliber career. And he is buoyed Thursday by indications that his quad injury originally discussed as a Grade-1 strain that might require 10-to-14 days of inactivity is actually much more mild than that. "It's two times better than what it was," Ware says. "...

The Last Time DeMarcus Ware Did Not Play

DeMarcus Ware will most likely miss the first game of his career on Sunday. It looks as if DeMarcus Ware will miss as many as four games with a quad injury. Assuming he misses Sunday’s game at Philadelphia, it will be the first time he has missed a game during his career. That means the last time that the Cowboys played a game without Ware was the season finale in 2004 against...

DeMarcus Ware on missing 3-4 weeks “I don’t think so”

Demarcus Ware has never missed a game in his NFL career. That streak will almost definitely come to an end this week after the DE strained a quad after last weeks game against the Redskins. Adam Schefter is reporting that injuries of thie nature are generally a 3-4 week recover. Demarcus Ware isn’t so sure about that. “I don’t think so,” Ware said, via the Dallas Morning...

Ware: “I’m not going to be out that long”

getty images DeMarcus Ware warned opponents on Monday who were looking to feast on a Cowboys defense beset by injury. “My body recovers really fast,” Ware said, via ESPN. “I’m not going to be out that long.” How long Ware will be out remains a question as the time table has ranged from missing Sunday’s game against Philadelphia to missing four weeks of action. The defensive...

Cowboys DeMarcus Ware declares himself game-time decision

Dallas Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Ware still won't give up hope that he could face the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday despite dealing with a thigh injury that could have him out three to four weeks. Ware declared himself a game-time decision even though he hasn't practiced at all this week and will fly with the team to Philadelphia. Ware reiterated his superhuman healing...

DeMarcus Ware: I'm a game-time call

Dallas Cowboys starting defensive end DeMarcus Ware said Thursday he's a game-time decision for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles with a thigh injury. Ware who hasn't practiced this week plans to travel to the game and test his leg. Ware has done some light running while in rehab including pushing off and doing some cutting. "It's two times better...

Cowboys' Ware out at least one game; Murray likely sidelined, too

DeMarcus Ware said even if he were to play this week at Philadelphia he wouldn’t be able to get off the ball like he should. “If I go out there it wouldn’t be 100 percent” he said Monday at Valley Ranch. “No question. There wouldn’t even be a point.” Ware is likely going to miss a game for the first time in his career because of a right quadriceps strain. He has played...

Cowboys Injury Update: DeMarcus Ware out 3-4 weeks

Dallas Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Ware will be out of action for 3-4 weeks after suffering a strained quadriceps muscle in Sunday night’s 31-16 win over the Washington Redskins, according to Mike Wilkening of Pro Football Talk. Ware suffered the injury late in the first half, attempting to rush Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III on a passing play. The Cowboys will surely...

Cowboys DL Jason Hatcher on Eagles QB situation: I'd rather see Foles

Cowboys defensive tackle Jason Hatcher doesn't get to pick who Philadelphia's starting quarterback will be on Sunday -- because why would Chip Kelly let an opposing player pick the Eagles starting quarterback -- but if Hatcher did get to pick he knows exactly who he'd want to see. "I would like to see [Nick] Foles because Vick is like a rabbit" Hatcher said...

NFL Week 7 Top 3 Picks

Season To Date: 13 – 5   Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles- The Cowboys are so thin on the defensive line and will have trouble containing LeSean McCoy.  The DeMarcus Ware injury sustained last week will be hard to overcome.  Ware may play against the Eagles, but he will not be as effective or be able to play as many snaps.  Dallas continues to rely heavily on the...

Cowboys release DT Jay Ratliff

The Dallas Cowboys have terminated the contract of defensive tackle Jay Ratliff placing him on the failed physical list from Reserve/PUP (Physically Unable to Perform). Ratliff was eligible to come off the PUP list this week after suffering a hamstring injury in training camp, but Jerry Jones and the Cowboys decided to cut ties with the eight-year veteran Wednesday afternoon. Ratliff...

Things To Look For vs. Dallas

The rivalry that has been the focal point of this franchise will write another chapter on Sunday. The Eagles and Cowboys will battle for sole possession of 1st place of the NFC East. Both teams are 3-3 and 2-0 in the division. A win by either team puts them in better position to win the division. Both teams are banged up slightly. Eagles QB Michael Vick may not be active for a second...

Jay Ratliff May Be Done for the Season

Things are not looking positive for Jay Ratliff as he continues to try and come back from hernia and hamstring injuries that he sustained over the offseason. While Ratliff is eligible to return to practice this week after being put on the PUP list to start the season, the Cowboys do not sound very hopeful that they'll get Ratliff back this week, or even this season. Per...
