Last year we saw many teams who were not expected to do much, but came out and made a lot noise. I’m going to predict who those teams will be going into 2012.
First off, let’s take a look at the teams nobody expected much from last year.
New York Giants: The Giants were the ultimate surprise team from last year. They entered the season having lost their best WR and TE in free agency. With Eli Manning coming off a 25 interception season, this didn’t look good.
The Giants lost some of their best players before Week 1 even started. They had to deal with an injured Justin Tuck, Osi Umenyiora, Terrell Thomas and the loss of their first-round pick, Prince Amukamara.
Things didn’t just seem bad, they looked horrible. The Giants were also trying to break in rookie linebackers.
