One of the more popular stories of the offseason has been how the Cowboys have nothing left from the 2009 Draft.Since the Cowboys didn't even try to re-sign Michael Jenkins, you could say the last member of that draft class was John Phillips. That loss has some people thinking the Cowboys need another tight end, but I'd like to point out an article of mine from last year about the Cowboys picking up Colin Cochart.Cochart is a blocking tight end like John Phillips, and the Cowboys managed to sneak him through to their practice squad after Jason Witten was fully healthy. The Cowboys gave up on Stephen McGee to get Cochart. He's known as a good blocker, and can easily bookend the offensive line for short yardage plays. He should be able to step in and do Phillips' job right away, having had a year to learn the offense, and he can do it for half the cap room that Phillips would have commanded.Best of all, the Cowboys don't need him to be a weapon, which is Cochart's...

The 2013 NFL draft could not come fast enough for Dallas Cowboys fans, but that does not mean we cannot make some predictions about what will go down on draft day.
In 2012, the Cowboys traded up to select cornerback Morris Claiborne. While that turned out to be a smart move, I do not see the Cowboys trading up in this draft. Staying put and getting the best player available is the...
Hate the Cowboys? Dez Bryant loves you for it.
The Cowboys receiver, during a recent interview with ESPN 600 radio in El Paso, said the hate for "America's Team" makes him and his teammates work harder.
"The greatest thing about bring on the Cowboys is people love to hate the Cowboys," Bryant said. "That makes you work 10 times harder. They put the...
IRVING, Texas If you're thinking the Dallas Cowboys might draft a quarterback this year and are focusing on the guys you've heard of Geno Smith and Matt Barkley -- you might be thinking too high.
How about the next level, with players like Ryan Nassib, E.J. Manuel, Tyler Wilson, Tyler Bray, Zac Dysert, Mike Glennon, Mike Scott and Landry Jones among the names?
I say there...

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is upset with the nation media because he claims that they’ve been twisting his words.
Bryant is upset about people calling him selfish after telling the media that he wants to be the first receiver to have a 2,000 yard season. He also feels like his words were taken out of context when he told ESPN Radio 600 in El Paso that the haters...
The dust across the Texas prairies had just about settled after the announcement of quarterback Tony Romo's contract extension. For some it made logical sense, tie the man up, make him the cornerstone of everything you stand for.For others it seemed plain ludicrous, the amount of money paid out on a player that has only led his team to one playoff win in his time under center...
The Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders and their bikinis hit Cozumel, Mexico for their 2013 calendar photo shoot.
IRVING, Texas There are two problems with the reports that have the Dallas Cowboys simultaneously negotiating a pay-cut contract for incumbent right tackle Doug Free while also negotiating a free-agent contract for prospective right tackle Eric Winston:
Problem 1: That simultaneous orchestration doesn't make sense.
Problem 2: That simultaneous orchestration isn't happening...
Catching passes for the first time since suffering a fractured left index finger that required surgery in January, electric Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is “not missing a beat” on the gridiron. “Finger is great,” said Bryant, 24, who the Cowboys took with the 24th selection in the 2010 NFL Draft out of Oklahoma State University. “I’m catching passes the same...
We like going deep Juan…
Check out this photo gallery of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders as they went scuba diving in Cozumel between photo shoots this week. The DCC is in Cozumel for their 2014 calendar shoot in Mexico. Year in and year out, they are by far the most consistent part of the Cowboys organization.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Cincinnati Bengals brought in free agent running back Felix Jones for a try out on Monday.

I believe Jones will end up signing with a team at some point. He’s going to need to prove that he can stay healthy.
